Das Segel besteht zu 100% aus Pongee Polyester. Diese feste, eng gewebte Kunststofffaser absorbiert bis 98% der Sonnenstrahlen und bietet so der empfindliche Babyhaut einen UV Schutz 50+. Das dichte Material verhindert gleichzeitig das Eindringen von leichtem Regen.

Das Segel ermöglicht ein individuelles Positionieren je nach Sonneneinstrahlung, einfach und bequem. Für großflächigen Schatten wird das Segel über das Verdeck gelegt und befestigt. Bei tiefstehender Sonne morgens oder abends kann das Segel mühelos seitlich angebracht werden. Bei Nichtgebrauch wird das Segel wie ein Rollo nach hinten geschoben; ein Abnehmen von Kinderwagen ist nicht nötig.

Der Rundum-Gummizug und die Befestigungsbänder ermöglichen eine flexible Nutzung sowohl an Kinderwagen als auch an rückwärtsgerichteten Sportwagen. Zum Befestigen wird das Segel über das Verdeck gelegt, der Gummizug unterhalb Babywanne entlang gezogen und die Bänder am Schiebegriff befestigt. Für einen sicheren Halt – auch bei Wind oder auf unebenen Untergründen.
